About Us

Hi! I’m Dean and this is my daughter Kate. We’re native St. Louisan’s. I graduated from Clayton High School and Mizzou with a Business Administration degree.

I come from an extensive business background in Commercial Real Estate, Leasing Retail, Office and Industrial Property. I also started and successfully operated a direct mail advertising business prior to entering the house cleaning industry.

I’ve worked out of a home office for years. Needing to save time, I hired a solo house cleaner so I could free up time to work. The house cleaner was very friendly but continuously distracted me with chitchat about her favorite music. When she left many hours later, I hadn’t saved any time at all!

Next, I hired a cleaning service, similar to Heavenly Scent Cleaning Service. The house cleaners completed their work in a very short time, but the quality of their work was inconsistent — sometimes OK, and other times not so good.

Seeing a need for more personalization and more consistent cleaning standards in the St. Louis, Missouri area, I decided to enter the cleaning business and have been happily cleaning homes for St. Louis area residents ever since.

My daughter, Kate, may be a kid but as my grandfather used to say “Don’t kid yourself!” Kate loves to help out in the business and is very popular. In fact, the Heavenly Scent staff and some of our clients like to talk with her first!
